The Norwin Aqua Club (NAC) is accepting applications for an Age Group Coach position. The successful candidate will work directly with the Head Coach and have the primary responsibilities to oversee and train swimmers, ages 6-18. The candidate?s responsibilities will be to coach practices, which are held weekday evenings five days per week and attend weekend swim meets as scheduled. In addition, the candidate should have a strong desire to contribute to the team philosophy of improving the sport of competitive swimming in the Norwin area by retaining and improving its membership and creating new member programs. Those seeking the position must have prior competitive swimming experience, CPR and Lifeguard certification, Act 33/34 clearance and have or obtain all AMS coaching requirements.
NAC is a non-profit, parent-operated competitive swim club registered with Allegheny Mountain Swimming (AMS), a division of USA Swimming. Also, NAC participates in the Chestnut Ridge League (a developmental league), swimming dual meets approximately two times per month. The opportunity exists for expanding your role within the club.
